In January 2003, The Pavilion, metro's all ages club was shut down. Over the last year and a half, the building has seen many renovations. It has since received new electrical and fire upgrades as well as a new stage and a new splash of paint. After these renovations, the first show back at The Pavilion was on August 13, 2004 where the new Pavilion stage was broken in by Risky Business, I Hate Sally, Wheels on the Bus, and Realms of Despair. The grand re-opening of The Pavilion was on August 27th when Joel Plaskett headlined in front of a packed house. Special guests that night were The Porcelain Gods and Audity.
