Chainsaw Carvers Auction North End Of Launch Field

Come and see the amazing artistic ballet the carvers perform with a dangerous, awkward and powerful tool.. The carvers' incredible skill and precision are sure to captivate young and old alike! The Chainsaw Fiesta will be held on the North end of the field, look for the tents with the buzz of chainsaws and where the chips are flying. The Chainsaw Fiesta is held to benefit the Make A Wish Foundation of New Mexico. The chainsaw artists carve 3 quick carves each to be raffled Saturday afternoon and 1 Master Carve each to be auctioned at 5:00 pm Saturday evening right before the Night Magic(tm) Glow and AfterGlow(tm) fireworks. 7 additional sculptures will be auctioned as well to benefit the Make A Wish Foundation. The sixty minute quick carves will be held, Friday at 8 am, 4 pm and again on Saturday morning at 8 am. The Master Carves will be carved over the entire 2 1/2 days. Come and see what all the noise is about!
